python-colander software package provides simple schema-based serialization and deserialization - Python 2.x, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-colander
python-colander is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-colander package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-colander *
You will get with python-colander package name, version, architecture and description in a table
